BRAD ARMSTRONG'S DANCE EXTRAVAGANZA, 'SEXY' FOR WICKED PICTURES

Films about the world of dance have captured the pop culture zeitgeist this year, and 2011 AVN Best Feature Director Brad Armstrong is contributing to the excitement with SEXY, a XXX romp through the worlds of jazz, burlesque, tap, hip hop, ballet, interpretive and cabaret dancing with a modern and very adult twist.

"SEXY is a stylish musical spectacular in the vein of traditional Hollywood dance blockbusters," the director reveals. "We were very pleased with the level of dancing talent that we were able to find, and excited to see them strut their stuff. The scenes cover a variety of dance styles, everything from tap and ballet to burlesque, jazz, and hip hop."

Armstrong's cast includes Wicked Girls jessica drake, Kaylani Lei and Alektra Blue (whose sexy moves will include an all-girl four-way with Brandy Aniston) as well as such other stars as Nicki Blue, Ash Hollywood, Kiara Mia, Nina Mercedez and Katsuni. To aid the director in his search for undiscovered dancing talent, rehearsal songs for both men and women, along with audition guidelines, were posted online at www.wicked.com/sexy. "The dancers could either choreograph a routine to one of the songs we posted online or just perform freestyle," the director says of the auditions. "We just wanted people to bring their best." It's a gambit that paid off; in addition to the ladies, the filmmaker cast such popular male performers as Derrick Pierce, Wolf Hudson, Rocco Reed and Barry Scott on the basis of their fine dancing abilities.

Unfailingly ambitious, Armstrong looks forward to shooting his latest pop culture extravaganza. "I think people will be surprised at the level of talent we've discovered. The quality of the talent, the styling, the wardrobe, the music and the number of dancing styles we explore will make this a true dance event."
