(Las Vegas, Nevada.) -The 2015 AVN Awards Show, Jan 24th at Hard Rock Vegas, was hosted by Tommy Pistol and Alexis Texas who were welcomed by a full house.
Rapper Rae Sremmurd's opening number featured a gang of adult starlets dancing seductively, followed by this year’s comedienne, Danielle Stewart who started the show with some racy humor. Pistol then broke into the song "Because I get good wood" which explained why he works in porn. Texas echoed back with the tune, "Because I got the booty" and the show was off and running.
The show was quickly paced, and the presenters included Brooklyn Chase, August Ames, Scarlet Red, Adriana Chechik, A.J. Applegate, Abigail Mac, Nadia Styles, Asa Akira, Lexi Belle, Misty Stone, Ryan Ryans, Kenna James, Layla Sin, Karmen Karma, Aiden Starr, Christie Stevens, Jessica Drake, Veruca James, Gabriella Paltrova, Allie Haze, Jesse Jane, Jodi West, Kelly des Ch'tis, Farrah Abraham, Skin Diamond, Maddy O'Reilly and Brandy Aniston.
The Best New Starlet award was presented to Carter Cruise by last year's winner, Mia Malkova. Cruise also took the Best Actress award. The comedy video "California Drought" with starlet Alexis Texas followed, offering a solution to the drought... squirting adult actresses! Anikka Albrite then took Female Performer of the Year.
Other show highlights included the Best Parody and Movie of the Year going to Wicked Pictures’ “24 XXX” and Best Drama going to Wicked Pictures’ “Aftermath” with Director Brad Armstrong bringing cast and crew onstage to accept. Armstrong thanked all involved including Wicked Pictures head Steve Orenstein.
An AVN Award is the adult industry’s highest honor. This was truly the night to honor the best work from the top adult stars.
