Georgia House Passes Strip Club Bill

(Atlanta, Georgia) - The Georgia House has passed a constitutional amendment charging strip clubs for victims of child sexual abuse. Under the amendment, all adult businesses have to pay $5,000 per year or 1% of their revenue, whichever is greater. The bill's text suggest that consuming alcohol and looking at naked women may entice customers to sexually exploit children making the fee necessary and reasonable. Posted 4/3/15
