Judge Delays Decision On Trump's Felony Convictions
(New York, New York) - Justice Juan Merchan, the presiding New York Supreme Court judge in the so-called hush money trial against Donald Trump, has delayed deciding whether to overturn 34 felony counts related to falsifying business records in a conspiracy to cover up hush money payments to Stormy Daniels to interfere with the 2016 election. Merchan, in a show of impartiality to the defense, delayed sentencing to Nov. 26.
