(Rabat) - In preparation for the 2030 FIFA World Cup, which Morocco will co-host with Spain and Portugal, the Moroccan government has launched a horrific campaign to cull up to three million stray dogs. Government-mandated gunmen patrol day and night, shooting dogs indiscriminately. Many suffer slow, agonizing deaths, and their bodies are often left to decompose.
