(Jefferson, Missouri) - Newly appointed Missouri Attorney General Catherine Hanaway announced Friday that the state's recently approved age verification regulation for adult websites will go into effect on Nov. 30. The regulation applies to commercial websites and platforms where one-third or more of the content is pornographic or sexually explicit. Civil penalties for noncompliance can run as high as $10,000 per day.
