(Fortuna, Calif.) - A rescue that called itself no-kill was allegedly shooting dogs and burying them in a mass grave. Miranda's Rescue in Fortuna, California marketed itself as a sanctuary for distressed and abandoned animals. Private donors paid $500 per dog believing they were funding second chances.
