(Memphis, Tennessee) - A U.S. district court on Tuesday denied the Tennessee attorney general's motion to dismiss a Free Speech Coalition lawsuit challenging the Protect Tennessee Minors Act. The Protect Tennessee Minors Act (PTMA), that state's age verification law for adult sites, was enacted in 2024, prior to the Supreme Court's pivotal decision in Free Speech Coalition v. Paxton.
