(Oklahoma City, Oklahoma) - A religious conservative lawmaker in the U.S. state of Oklahoma has introduced a bill proposing a ban on pornography. State Sen. Dusty Deevers, a Southern Baptist preacher, proposed Senate Bill 1976 to prohibit the legal consumption, distribution, and production of adult entertainment content within state boundaries. Adult content is otherwise legally protected speech.
