(Edinburgh) - Edinburgh has become the first city to get rid of the clubs. The city council's regulatory committee voted to ban the bars by a majority of five to four. A City of Edinburgh Council spokesman said the ban would come into place from April 1 next year. Sex workers and advocacy organizations explicitly condemned the support of several members of the Scottish Labour Party for a conservative measure.
